Reading Connections follows the Guilford County Public Schools Inclement Weather Schedule.

Computer Lab
Our computer lab is open during Reading Connections business hours for self-paced study.  Call 230-2223 for hours in Greensboro.  Call 404-3474 for computer lab hours in High Point.

Adult Education
Reading Connections’ Adult Education program aims to improve the literacy skills of native English speakers to enable them to live more independently.

Our ESOL program aims to improve the English language and life skills of non-native speakers.

The GED is a high school equivalency set of exams and a diploma.

Reading Connections has a computer lab and software for Adult Education, ESOL and GED students to use.

Reading Connections is proud to offer Motheread, a free 14-week class that focuses on literacy, parenting, and life skills.

Health Literacy
Health literacy is the ability to read, understand and effectively use basic medical instructions and information. Low health literacy can affect anyone of any age, ethnicity, background or education level.

Employees at High Point Regional Hospital serve as volunteer tutors for other employees wishing to improve their basic skills, learn English, or improve specific skills needed for career advancement.
