Reading Connections follows the Guilford County Public Schools Inclement Weather Schedule.

Computer Lab
Our computer lab is open during Reading Connections business hours for self-paced study.  Call 230-2223 for hours in Greensboro.  Call 884-7323 for computer lab hours in High Point.

Adult Education
Reading Connections’ Adult Education program aims to improve the literacy skills of native English speakers to enable them to live more independently.

Our ESOL program aims to improve the English language and life skills of non-native speakers.

Reading Connections has a computer lab and software for Adult Education, ESOL and GED students to use.

Family Literacy
Our Family Literacy Academy of Greensboro is proud to offer 14-week or 34-week classes that focus on literacy, parenting, and life skills using the Motheread curriculum

Health literacy is the ability to read, understand and effectively use basic medical instructions and information. Low health literacy can affect anyone of any age, ethnicity, background or education level.

Employees at High Point Regional Hospital serve as volunteer tutors for other employees wishing to improve their basic skills, learn English, or improve specific skills needed for career advancement.
