The Annual Scrabble Challenge is Reading Connections' largest fundraising event. The proceeds from this event benefit Reading Connections in our mission to help adults live more independently by providing free and confidential basic literacy services, to increase community awareness of adult literacy needs, and to serve as a resource for the provision of basic literacy services.

The 8th Annual Scrabble Challenge will be held on April 17th at the Empire Room in downtown Greensboro. The evening will include dinner and tournament play for Scrabble enthusiasts and spectators as well as a raffle drawing for exciting prizes.

There are many ways you can participate in this event!

Raffle tickets are just $5 each or $20 for a book of five.

Be a Spectator
Enjoy watching the Scrabble fun! A spectator ticket is $30.

Be a Player
Play individually or as part of a three-person team in the tournament play. You'll get to enjoy the fun of the game and dinner as a player. Contact Reading Connections to sign-up yourself, your team, or your company. $35 per person to play. Three-person team play registration starts at $100.
